Key Responsibilities:

As an Experienced Customer Service Associate – Retail Sales Floor and Customer Support, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Engaging with customers on the sales floor, helping them find products that meet their needs, and building long-term relationships
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor environment, including cleaning, organizing, and moving merchandise as needed
  • Handling clerical duties, such as customer files and contracts, with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve sales goals, promote products, and drive business results
  • Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers, colleagues, and management in a professional and courteous manner
  • A strong desire to help customers, with a customer-centric approach and a willingness to go above and beyond to meet their needs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Previous retail or customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in math, reading, and writing
  • Basic computer skills, with experience using point-of-sale systems and other retail software
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly, with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities

Skills and Competencies:

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic math skills, with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance and 300 lbs. with a dolly (training and support will be provided)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
