Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced customer service representative to join our team on a temporary, full-time basis. As a benefit card support specialist, you'll be responsible for handling inbound calls from customers inquiring about goods and services from our clients. Your primary goal will be to provide high-quality service with a helpful, professional attitude, ensuring that every customer interaction is a positive and memorable experience.
Responsibilities
As a customer service representative at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:
- Managing large volumes of inbound calls in a timely manner, ensuring that every customer receives prompt and personalized attention
- Following established communication scripts to handle different topics and provide accurate information to customers
- Identifying customers' needs, clarifying information, researching, and providing solutions and/or alternatives to resolve their issues
- Accessing company and client resources to accurately handle calls and provide expert support
- Seizing opportunities to upsell products and services when they arise, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction
- Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to cross-train as requested
- Maintaining punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times, ensuring that our team's productivity and performance are not compromised
- Remaining positive and professional in all customer interactions, even in challenging situations
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, fostering a culture of teamwork and mutual support
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Previous 3-6 months of customer service or customer support experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Previous 3-6 months of call center or office background experience, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and best practices
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity software
- Quick learning ability and the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
- Strong phone and verbal communication skills, along with active listening and problem-solving abilities
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- A background check will be required, in accordance with state and federal laws

Pay and Benefits
As a temporary customer service representative at blithequark, you'll enjoy:
- A starting pay rate of $14/hour, plus shift differential (extra $1/hr nights & wkds)
- Work hours between 10:00am-11:00 pm (EST), with a flexible schedule to accommodate your needs
- Paid training, typically 1-2 weeks in length, from 9:00am-6:00pm (EST)
- A temporary, full-time status, with opportunities for advancement and career growth

As a remote customer service representative at blithequark, you'll be required to provide your own equipment and workspace, including:
- A laptop or desktop computer, with a processor of Intel Core i5 5200 Series or greater
- 8GB of memory, on Windows 8.1 / 10 64 bits
- A screen resolution of 1280x768 or higher, with dual monitors required
- A USB headset, with up-to-date antivirus software and a recent scan completed
- A firewall enabled, with a dedicated high-speed internet connection and a secure, reliable workspace
