The Role

As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in designing and implementing data pipelines that drive business insights and inform our content strategy. You'll work closely with our data science team to develop and maintain large-scale data systems, and collaborate with our engineering team to integrate data into our web and cloud applications.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and implement data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources

  • Develop and maintain large-scale data systems using technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
  • Collaborate with data scientists to develop and deploy machine learning models that drive business insights
  • Work with the engineering team to integrate data into web and cloud applications
  • Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for data engineering
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data-driven initiatives

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on large-scale data systems
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Scala, Python, or C++
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or GCP
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and database design
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
  • Experience with containerization using Docker or Kubernetes
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based security and compliance

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

  • Annual salary range: $120,000 - $150,000
