Human Resources Coordinator

David Lawrence Centers is seeking an HR Coordinator to join their dynamic team as they grow. In this role, you'll be responsible for coordinating the onboarding process for new hires and supporting various HR functions including recruitment, employee engagement, and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Take the lead in coordinating the full onboarding journey for new hires, ensuring they feel welcomed and supported every step of the way
  • Manage offer letters, employment contracts, and all onboarding materials with precision
  • Conduct engaging new hire orientations to introduce employees to company culture, policies, and benefits
  • Ensure smooth completion of background checks, employment verification, and compliance documentation
  • Collaborate with IT and Facilities to ensure new hires have the tools and workspace they need to succeed
  • Be a go-to resource for new employees, providing answers and support during their onboarding process
  • Maintain up-to-date employee records in our HR systems and files
  • Assist with exciting HR initiatives like employee engagement, training, and career development
  • Ensure the company stays in compliance with labor laws and internal policies by tracking necessary documentation
  • Support the offboarding process, conducting exit interviews, and managing the return of company assets

Skills

  • High School Diploma/Equivalent
  • Current/Clear FL Driver's License with ability to travel locally in Collier County for Career Events
  • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking & HRIS Systems
  • Able to juggle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communicator, highly organized, and a team player with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • Microsoft Office 365 skills (Including Teams/Copilot)
  • Staying compliant on all trainings and immunizations
  • Ability to pass Level II DCF Mental Health Fingerprinting, Drug Screen and Local Criminal Check
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field
  • 1-3 years in HR coordination or support, with a focus on onboarding
