Zus Health is a shared health data platform focused on accelerating healthcare data interoperability. They are seeking a Software Engineer to join their Platform team, responsible for building and operating data services that support applications and APIs, while ensuring low latency and high availability for health records processing.

Responsibilities

  • Build and operate data services driving our applications and APIs
  • Collaborate with team members and across Engineering to iteratively prototype and develop new functionality
  • Partner with product managers and other Zusers

Skills

  • Are scrappy and you move fast
  • Are jazzed to build backend services in Go
  • Have some experience/exposure with at least one of the following: deployment technologies (Github actions, CodeDeploy, CircleCI), cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Are excited to ~ finally! ~ enable a true digital revolution in healthcare
  • Thrive amid the changing landscape of a growing and evolving startup
  • Enjoy collaboration and solving unique problems
  • Are in the Boston metro and excited to collaborate in person on a hybrid schedule
  • Experienced in building and running large-scale systems in the cloud using Go
  • Experienced in using Postgres and its search capabilities
  • Knowledgeable about application security
  • Experienced in working with healthcare data and APIs
  • Familiar with the FHIR and/or TEFCA standards
