Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Logistics Manager to join our team in Lansing, MI. As a key member of our Supply Chain Solutions division, you'll be responsible for leading a team of logistics professionals, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring the attainment of daily operational goals. Key Responsibilities

* Oversee the day-to-day operations within an assigned function, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer satisfaction

  • Lead a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure team success
  • Manage day-to-day planning and scheduling, ensuring efficient use of resources and optimal customer service
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, reports, and data to support business decisions and performance metrics
  • Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal regulations, as well as arenaflex policies and procedures

Essential Functions

* Customer service satisfaction and expectation management

  • Staffing performance management and development of exempt and non-exempt employees
  • Manage day-to-day planning and scheduling
  • Health and Safety Management
  • State/Local/Federal regulations compliance

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) is required
  • Logistics industry knowledge advanced required
  • Knowledge and understanding of Customer/Company local and Federal regulations advanced required
  • Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components intermediate required
  • Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production advanced required

Qualifications

* H.S. diploma/GED required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred
  • Two (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or industry-related field required
  • One (1) year or more direct supervisory/leadership experience required
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) is required
  • Logistics industry knowledge advanced required
  • Knowledge and understanding of Customer/Company local and Federal regulations advanced required
  • Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components intermediate required
  • Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production advanced required
