As we continue to expand our footprint, we are looking for passionate, technically‑savvy professionals to join our growing team of arenaflexians and help shape the next generation of e‑commerce fulfillment.

Why This Role Matters

The IT Service Engineer position sits at the intersection of technology and operations, providing critical support to our high‑volume distribution centers. You will be the go‑to expert for troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing the hardware and software that keep our warehouses running smoothly. By ensuring that every scanner, printer, network device, and server functions flawlessly, you directly enable arenaflex to deliver on its promise of “a home you love.” This role offers a unique blend of hands‑on technical work, cross‑functional collaboration, and the opportunity to drive continuous improvement across a fast‑moving, data‑rich environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Warehouse Operations: Spend time on the warehouse floor to understand daily workflows, build strong relationships with Operations teams, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot Complex Technical Issues: Diagnose and resolve problems spanning Windows Server environments, network connectivity, and warehouse‑specific hardware such as RFID scanners, label printers, and POS terminals.
  • Ticket Management: Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of incidents in ServiceNow, ensuring timely communication, accurate documentation, and swift resolution for both on‑site and remote users.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Software Development, Network Engineering, and Business Intelligence teams to address high‑impact incidents and implement robust, data‑driven fixes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify recurring problems, perform root‑cause analysis, and develop standardized processes that reduce downtime and increase operational efficiency.
  • Project Leadership: Lead or co‑lead technical projects that impact the local site, such as hardware rollouts, network upgrades, or automation initiatives.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create clear, concise technical documentation and knowledge‑base articles to empower the broader support community.
  • On‑Call & Rotational Support: Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule to provide 24/7 coverage for critical warehouse systems, ensuring business continuity.
  • Stay Current with Emerging Technologies: Keep abreast of industry trends, new tools, and best practices to recommend innovative solutions that align with arenaflex’s strategic goals.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on IT support experience, ideally within a distribution‑center or high‑volume warehouse environment.
  • Proven experience troubleshooting Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and server‑side applications.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, VPN, VoIP, and experience configuring Cisco or Aruba switches and routers.
  • Hands‑on experience with SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) for software imaging and deployment.
  • Familiarity with warehouse hardware such as RFID scanners, label printers, and peripheral devices (e.g., barcode readers, handheld terminals).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and maintain attention to detail under pressure.
  • Customer‑service mindset and a collaborative attitude that aligns with arenaflex’s team‑first culture.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Industry‑standard certifications such as A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, VBScript, or Python) to automate routine tasks and streamline workflows.
  • Experience with email, FTP, and HTTP troubleshooting, including mail server administration.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and familiarity with hybrid infrastructure models.
  • Understanding of ITIL or other service‑management frameworks to enhance incident and problem management processes.
  • Passion for learning new technologies, process improvement, and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Core Competencies for Success

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to dissect complex problems, gather relevant data, and develop logical, evidence‑based solutions.
  • Collaboration: Strong team player who thrives in cross‑functional environments and builds trust with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast‑changing environment, handling shifting priorities, and embracing new challenges.
  • Ownership: Takes responsibility for end‑to‑end delivery of tasks, from initial diagnosis through final resolution and documentation.
  • Communication: Clear, concise, and empathetic communication style, both written and verbal, tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Customer Focus: Commitment to delivering exceptional service experiences for internal users and external partners.
