Job Overview We're looking for a strategic, detail-driven paralegal to support our Litigation Department in asylum, withholding of removal, and related relief matters — from client intake through court proceedings. You'll serve as a key partner to Attorneys, managing a non-detained docket and ensuring every filing meets the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Case Management & Strategy Assist attorneys in preparing and filing applications, petitions, and supporting documentation for asylum, withholding of removal, and related relief. Monitor and manage case deadlines, court dates, and filing requirements for a non-detained docket. Draft correspondence to USCIS, EOIR, and other government agencies and track responses. Client Communication Conduct client intake interviews and maintain ongoing communication with clients in English and Spanish throughout the life of their case. Work sensitively with clients who have experienced trauma, displacement, or persecution. Documentation & Evidence Gather, organize, and translate supporting evidence including country condition documents, declarations, and personal statements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files in the firm's case management system. Hearing Support Support attorneys during immigration court hearings, including preparing hearing binders and logistics. Coordinate with interpreters, social workers, and expert witnesses as needed. Required Qualifications 1+ years of paralegal experience in immigration law, with hands-on USCIS and/or EOIR filing experience Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken) Familiarity with immigration court procedures, EOIR filing requirements, and USCIS processes Strong written communication skills Proficiency with case management software and standard office tools Ability to manage a high-volume docket and prioritize competing deadlines without close supervision Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail in document preparation and filing Interpersonal skills to work sensitively with clients who have experienced trauma, displacement, or persecution Note to Recruiters and Third-Party Agencies: We truly appreciate your interest and the work you do to support talent acquisition.
