Position Overview

arenaflex is currently hiring a Customer Service Representative I (Remote) to join our dynamic Client Support team. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for individuals with a background in customer service, call center operations, retail banking, or residential lending who are looking to grow within a stable, reputable, and supportive financial institution. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for our valued customers, processing transactions, answering inquiries, and resolving issues with professionalism, accuracy, and empathy.

This position offers flexibility through a hybrid work arrangement for residents of Miami-Dade and Broward County who are able to report occasionally to our Miami Lakes, FL office. Candidates located outside of South Florida will be considered for a fully remote schedule, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while still being fully connected to a collaborative, high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative I at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in maintaining the trust and satisfaction of our customer base. Your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Deliver Outstanding Customer Service: Provide service that genuinely makes a difference in the lives of our customers. Every interaction is an opportunity to strengthen relationships and reinforce the arenaflex brand.
  • Maintain High Performance Standards: Consistently achieve call productivity and quality scores that exceed minimum expectations. You will be supported with coaching, feedback, and tools to help you succeed.
  • Build Product Knowledge: Acquire, demonstrate, and apply working knowledge of Retail Banking, Online Banking platforms, Mortgage products, and Business Banking services to better serve a diverse customer base.
  • Process Transactions Accurately: Handle customer transactions efficiently and correctly, ensuring all maintenance requests, updates, and account changes are completed in a timely manner.
  • Resolve Customer Inquiries: Research, troubleshoot, and resolve customer questions and concerns with prompt, efficient, and accurate service, using active listening and problem-solving skills.
  • Communicate with Clarity: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, adjusting your tone and approach to meet the needs of each customer.
  • Cross-Sell Financial Products: Identify opportunities to introduce customers to additional financial services and products that align with their needs, supporting both customer success and business growth.
  • Comply with Regulatory Standards: Adhere strictly to all applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and guidance, including anti-money laundering requirements such as the Bank Secrecy Act and the USA PATRIOT Act.
  • Follow Internal Policies: Comply with all arenaflex policies, procedures, and required training modules, contributing to a culture of integrity and accountability.
  • Report Suspicious Activity: Identify and escalate any suspicious or unusual activity in accordance with arenaflex compliance protocols.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Education: A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience: One to three years of call center experience, retail banking, or residential loans experience is preferred, though motivated candidates with strong customer service backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
  • Technical Skills: Solid computer navigation skills, including comfort with web-based applications, customer relationship management (CRM) tools, and standard office software.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal abilities with a genuine desire to help others and a professional, courteous demeanor.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and written communication skills, including strong typing accuracy and spelling.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to think critically, troubleshoot issues, and deliver effective solutions in a timely manner.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will help you stand out as an applicant:

  • Bilingual Fluency: Proficiency in English and Spanish (or another language) is highly preferred and may result in additional opportunities for advancement.
  • Financial Services Background: Prior experience working in a bank, credit union, mortgage company, or other financial services environment.
  • Sales Aptitude: Comfort with cross-selling or upselling products in a customer-friendly, non-pushy manner.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a remote work environment, manage time effectively, and remain productive with minimal supervision.
