Do you find deep satisfaction in the art of accurate order entry, seamless coordination across multiple systems, and meaningful customer interactions? arenaflex is actively seeking a dedicated, resourceful, and analytically minded Remote Payroll Data Entry Specialist to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. This is a fully remote opportunity, open exclusively to candidates residing in the United States, with a strong preference for individuals located in Arizona or the Central Time Zone to align naturally with our operational rhythm and collaborative cadence.

At arenaflex, we believe that exceptional back-office operations are the quiet engine behind every successful customer experience. If you take pride in the integrity of your work, enjoy working with numbers, and love being the dependable backbone of a high-performing team, this role is designed with you in mind.

About the Role: Remote Payroll Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex

This position is far more than a traditional data entry job. As a Remote Payroll Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be entrusted with managing high-volume order processing activities, navigating multiple proprietary and third-party systems, and providing responsive, professional support to both internal stakeholders and external customers. Your day-to-day contributions will directly impact customer satisfaction, sales channel efficiency, and the overall operational excellence that arenaflex is known for delivering.

You will work independently from your home office while remaining tightly connected to a collaborative, supportive team environment. The role requires a self-starter mentality, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to pivot quickly between tasks without losing focus or accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

As a vital member of our operations team, your core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Multi-System Order Management: Utilize a variety of internal platforms and tools to accurately enter pre-sales and post-sales information, fulfill customer orders, process and post payments, and verify the integrity and accuracy of every order before it progresses through the pipeline.
  • New Service Coordination: Initiate new service order requests as needed, coordinate logistics across departments, and track the full lifecycle of product and service installations to ensure timely and successful completion.
  • Project Support & Leadership: Provide dedicated support for—and occasionally lead—ad hoc projects generated by arenaflex sales channels, taking ownership of deliverables and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare customized reports as requested by leadership, sales support managers, and cross-functional partners, ensuring data is presented clearly and accurately.
  • Customer Education: Serve as a knowledgeable resource who educates customers on arenaflex products and services, helping them understand features, benefits, and how to maximize their experience.
  • Performance Excellence: Consistently meet or exceed critical monthly performance metrics, including data entry accuracy, productivity benchmarks, and quality standards.
  • Professional Correspondence: Draft routine client and customer communications with a polished, professional tone that reflects arenaflex’s brand voice and commitment to service.
  • Problem Resolution: Respond promptly to customer and internal questions, help resolve operational issues, and direct calls or inquiries to the most appropriate resources within the organization.
  • Special Projects: Complete special operational and client-focused projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as a coordinator and liaison between departments, outside vendors, and external customers, ensuring seamless communication and efficient issue resolution.
  • Activity Reporting: Provide regular order activity updates to the Sales Support Manager or designated Supervisor, offering insights and flagging potential concerns proactively.
  • Offline Order Processing: Coordinate and process offline orders that come through G2B, e-commerce platforms, and Friends and Family channels, ensuring they are captured accurately within internal systems.
  • Backup Phone Support: Step in as a backup for phone support during periods of high call volume, or serve as a primary point of contact for customers in the absence of the sales force.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

To thrive in this role, candidates should bring the following:

  • Educational Foundation: A high school diploma or GED is required. Equivalent relevant work experience will also be considered.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 2–5 years of experience in a data entry, order management, payroll support, or related operational role.
  • Microsoft Excel Proficiency: Strong, intermediate-level experience with Microsoft Excel is essential, including comfort with formulas, formatting, data manipulation, and spreadsheet organization.
  • Data Entry Expertise: Demonstrated experience with high-volume, high-accuracy data entry, with a track record of meeting productivity and quality benchmarks.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates who stand out will also bring:

  • Payroll or Commission Background: Prior experience in payroll processing, commission tracking, or compensation-related data management is a strong plus.
  • Telecom Industry Familiarity: Previous experience supporting telecom, sales operations, or similar fast-paced industries is highly valued.
  • System Agility: A demonstrated ability to learn new software platforms quickly and adapt to evolving technology stacks.

Core Skills & Competencies for Success

At arenaflex, we know that great specialists are built on a foundation of both technical and interpersonal capabilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Exceptional Attention to Detail: The ability to catch discrepancies, verify data integrity, and maintain a near-zero error rate.
  • Time Management & Prioritization: The capacity to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  • Clear Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft professional correspondence and interact confidently with customers and colleagues.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: A genuine desire to help others and a commitment to delivering positive customer experiences.
  • Problem-Solving Acumen: Resourceful thinking and the confidence to troubleshoot issues independently before escalating when necessary.
  • Adaptability: Comfort working in an evolving environment where priorities can shift based on business needs.
  • Team Collaboration: A collaborative spirit that thrives in cross-functional settings and values partnership over silos.
