Key Responsibilities

Customer Interaction & Service Delivery

  • Greet and assist customers in‑person, via phone, and through email, providing knowledgeable guidance on shipping options, packaging solutions, and printing services.
  • Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system to process sales, accept payments, and issue receipts accurately and efficiently.
  • Offer upselling and cross‑selling opportunities, promoting complementary services such as mailbox rentals, notary services, and promotional printing.
  • Handle customer complaints with empathy, resolve issues promptly, and document outcomes to improve future service.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales counter, ensuring all equipment (copiers, printers, rental computers) is ready for use.

Logistics & Shipping Operations

  • Assist customers with preparing shipments, selecting appropriate packaging, and generating accurate shipping labels for UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS, and other carriers.
  • Coordinate with courier partners to schedule pickups, track deliveries, and resolve any carrier‑related discrepancies.
  • Sort and deposit mail into private mailboxes, ensuring confidentiality and timely delivery.
  • Manage virtual mail services, capturing, organizing, and forwarding digital correspondence as required.
  • Maintain inventory of shipping supplies, printing paper, and retail merchandise; place orders with vendors to keep stock levels optimal.

Store Management & Administrative Duties

  • Open and close the center, including cash register reconciliation, POS system shutdown, and securing the premises.
  • Perform daily cash handling, deposit preparation, and financial reporting in accordance with arenaflex policies.
  • Assist management in visual merchandising, ensuring the store layout meets brand standards and promotes sales.
  • Train and mentor new Customer Service Representatives, sharing best practices and fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Participate in promotional initiatives, seasonal campaigns, and community outreach events to drive foot traffic and brand awareness.

Essential Qualifications

  • Retail Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years in a customer‑facing retail or service role, preferably with exposure to shipping, printing, or logistics.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities; comfortable interacting with diverse customers via phone, email, and in‑person.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Windows operating systems, and POS hardware/software.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds safely.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in business, logistics, or related fields is a plus.
  • Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license required for occasional courier coordination.

Preferred Qualifications & Certifications

  • Previous supervisory or team‑lead experience.
  • Notary Public certification (or willingness to obtain certification).
  • Familiarity with major carrier platforms (UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, DHL Express tools).
  • Experience with inventory management software or retail back‑office systems.
