[Remote] Senior Cloud Security Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. EPAM Systems is looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Security Engineer to support their clients in improving their security posture. The role involves working with various teams to implement and enhance cloud security mechanisms, creating and maintaining security policies, and automating security validation.
Responsibilities
- Create and assign security policy initiatives across various tenants, management groups, and subscriptions
- Maintain and update the security policies based on requests from client
- Develop and maintain SCP rules / KQL Queries for automation in AWS and Azure environments
- Design and implement automation for response and ticket handling
- Participate in the testing, scoring, and strategic implementation of CSPM and other tools
Skills
- 3+ years of experience in Cloud Security
- Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS or GCP Clouds, including security infrastructure, services, IAM and others
- Strong communication skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
- Experience with Lamda, Azure Functions, Python, Go, JavaScript or other scripting languages and automation technologies
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible
- Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management tools such as Orca or Wiz
- Familiarity with API and PowerBI
- Experience with DevOps pipelines
- Relevant certifications in Azure, AWS or GCP
