[Remote] Advisor, Data Management & Governance Technical Writer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Cardinal Health is seeking an Advisor, Data Management & Governance Technical Writer to enhance their Data Management capabilities with a focus on improving metadata quality in Collibra. The role involves proofreading and editing metadata content, creating style guides and SOPs, and coaching teams on best practices in metadata management.
Responsibilities
- Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects
- Proofreading/editing of metadata related content in Collibra. (No technical expertise in Collibra is required.)
- Create writing style-guide for Collibra
- Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Perform audits of existing content in Collibra based on style-guide
- Ensure processes are being followed and documentation is being maintained
- Maintain metadata records in Collibra in support of Enterprise Data Management initiatives
- Support data stewards on the use of Collibra
- Support the creation of learning materials
- Focus on metadata quality and drive improvement
- Coach, mentor, advise on best practices related to metadata management
- Partner with other teams to improve processes
Skills
- 4-8 years of experience
- BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field
- Technical writing skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail
