Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Performance Improvement Partners (PIP) is a high-growth technology consulting firm specializing in Private Equity's middle market. They are seeking a Finance & Accounting Manager to support core accounting operations, enhance process improvements, and drive automation within the Finance team.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, automate processes, and enhance system integrations
  • Support ongoing improvements in financial reporting and operational efficiency
  • Review and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and cost-saving opportunities
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking activities
  • A/P, A/R, payroll and commission management
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements
  • Support accrual schedules and tracking across various expense categories
  • Bank and credit card reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls and applicable financial regulations
  • Assist with external audits
  • Support tax preparation activities and ensure accurate financial reporting

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting systems (QuickBooks or similar preferred)
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with interest in process improvement
