This is a remote position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (New York Time) Break: 30-minute unpaid break Total Weekly Hours: 40 hours Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Case Manager to support attorneys in handling a high-volume caseload of personal injury and workers’ compensation cases. The ideal candidate has prior legal case management experience, strong organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced legal environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the main contact for clients, providing regular updates and answering questions professionally and with empathy

  • Assist attorneys with file preparation, document collection, calendar management, and case tracking

  • Open, manage, and close case files according to firm procedures and legal requirements

  • Communicate with insurance companies, medical providers, and other parties to gather records and manage appointments

  • Draft legal correspondence, forms, and other documents under attorney supervision

  • Maintain accurate case notes and updates in the case management system

  • Prepare settlement packages and assist in claims negotiations when applicable

  • Ensure all documents comply with firm and legal standards

Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a Case Manager or Legal Assistant in a personal injury or workers’ compensation firm

  • Strong knowledge of litigation and claims processes (New York State experience preferred)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Proficient in legal software and Microsoft Office

  • Able to manage multiple priorities independently
