[Remote] Project Engineer III- Mechanical

They are seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer III to join their Engineering & Design team, focusing on high-performance building designs that ensure occupant comfort and safety while maximizing profitability and environmental protection.
Responsibilities
- Documents project correspondence, issues, decisions and directions
- Learns and follows McKinstry Engineering standards and procedures
- Contributes to tasks on multiple projects and timelines concurrently
- Manages own workload to deliver assigned tasks on time and in the budget
- Identifies training, coaching, and support needed to complete assigned tasks
- Develops familiarity in mechanical systems design, including calculations, airside systems, piping systems, equipment selection and multi-discipline coordination
- Performs engineering calculations, design, and drafting tasks
- Produces design drawings and building information models for construction
- Pursues an understanding of the technical foundation of design activities and decisions
Skills
- 3-5 years of HVAC design experience
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline required or equivalent work experience required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required
- Knowledge of Revit required
- Onsite construction experience considered and welcome
- Knowledge of other CAD/BIM tools welcome
- Familiarity with MATLAB, VBA, Python, InDesign, IES-VE, and/or other software tools welcome
- Engineering in Training Certificate preferred
